The pistol squat is a personal favorite of mine. It took me years to develop the flexibility to do it but the effort was so worth it! This video demonstrates a very clean pistol squat and a few exercises to get there but assuming you have the flexibility already.

Great exercise to build basic core strength in preparation for more advanced exercises requiring a super strong core. Start with static hollow body and build up to 5 sets of 60 sec holds. Then move on to 5 sets of 60 rocks.
